Your First Visit: What to Expect

Your initial appointment is a chance to start building a positive, trusting relationship with your dentist. They'll introduce themselves, review your dental history, and talk through any concerns or goals you have about your oral health. Whether you are attending for a routine check-up, interested in cosmetic options, or need help with a specific issue, the consultation will be personalised to meet your needs.

Thorough Oral Health Assessment

During the appointment, your dentist will carry out a full examination of your teeth, gums, and surrounding oral tissues to get a clear picture of your dental health. This includes looking for early signs of decay, gum issues, or anything unusual that might need further attention. Bite alignment and jaw function may also be checked, especially if you mention symptoms like grinding, clicking, or pain.

X-Rays and Additional Diagnostics

To support a complete and accurate diagnosis, X-rays may be taken to reveal issues that aren’t visible during a visual exam—such as hidden cavities, bone changes, or impacted teeth. These modern digital X-rays are fast, safe, and provide detailed imagery with very low radiation exposure.
