I am always happy to listen to and discuss any dental concerns you may have and ensure all my patients are treated in caring and considerate way, so you feel informed and confident in your decisions.

My aim is to provide dental care in a calm, caring, and gentle way, helping you feel comfortable and supported throughout your visit. Whether you are attending for routine care or have specific dental concerns, your wellbeing and comfort are always my priority.
Matthew's Story

Matt wanted to become a dentist from a very young age, first studying dental assisting in Edmonton, Canada and achieving the Dental Assisting certificate at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology in 2001. Working as a dental nurse for 5 years, he decided he wants to develop his career further and he applied for the 5-year DDS Program at the Poznan University of Medical Science. where he qualified as a Dentist in 2011.
After completing his vocational training, he moved from Poland to Devon with his family in 2012 and has been a part of the Barnstaple dental community since then.

Always keen to improve his knowledge base he attended numerous courses throughout his career. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry and has developed a particular interest in oral surgery. Matthew is currently undertaking a Master of Science (MSc) in Oral Surgery through the University of Plymouth, further developing his knowledge, confidence, and clinical competence in advanced oral surgery. He is also planning to complete a dental sedation course to better support patients who may feel anxious about dental treatment.

Matt is noted for his calm, compassionate demeanour much appreciated by nervous patients.

Besides dentistry, which is Matthew's lifelong passion, he enjoys surfing and loves making the most of the beautiful coastal life that North Devon has to offer.
