Crowding
Your teeth are too close together and have abnormal positions such as overlapping, displacement in various directions, or twisted appearance.
Crowded teeth are harder to keep clean, and can create detrimental relationships when biting and chewing, both of which can lead to much more serious oral health issues.

Spacing
When you have spaces between one or several sets of teeth.

Teeth are meant to fit together snugly to support each other. When teeth are spaced out, there’s a greater risk that they’ll wobble or break, and food can get stuck in spaces and begin to rot your teeth and gums.

Deep Bite
A dental deep bite occurs when upper front teeth excessively overlap the lower front teeth by more than 2–4 mm, often causing the lower teeth to bite into the palate.
This common, usually hereditary, condition can lead to severe tooth wear, gum damage, and jaw pain.
Affects over 1 in 50 people.

Overjet
Overjet is a dental condition where the upper front teeth protrude horizontally over the lower teeth, typically by more than 2–4 mm. It is a type of malocclusion (bad bite) usually caused by genetics, underdeveloped lower jaws, or childhood habits like thumb sucking.
Excessive overjet makes it harder to bite and chew food, and, as with a lot of misaligned teeth, it can lead to severe oral health problems, like tooth fractures and bone loss.

Cross Bite
When you bite, your upper teeth fall inside your bottom teeth, which is opposite of how it should be. This could occur with one tooth or with a group of teeth, and can occur anywhere in the mouth.
Typically, with a cross bite the chewing edges of your teeth aren’t meeting the way they should, so all of your chewing and biting force is transferred to the wrong surfaces at the wrong angles.

Open Bite
When you bite down, your back teeth are touching while your front teeth are not, creating an open space when you smile.
An open bite can make it difficult to bite into foods, and can place irregular pressure on your jaw joint and individual teeth, which can lead to gum recession, bone loss, and worn-down teeth.

Midline Shift
The center point of your top front teeth does not align with the center point of your bottom front teeth.

A midline shift may seem like a cosmetic problem, but it often means there are other occlusal problems as well. This may mean your teeth are not coming together properly, creating stress points where there shouldn't be any, or making your teeth harder to clean.

Edge-to-edge Bite
The edges of your top front teeth collide with the edges of your bottom front teeth.

Edge-to-edge occlusion puts a lot of stress on the most fragile parts of your teeth. The tips of your incisors are very susceptible to trauma like this, and can very quickly show signs of wear and/or chipping.

Your ClearCorrect journey
Your smile is unique. That’s why ClearCorrect is tailored exactly to your needs, with specialized features that help give you the smile you deserve.

2. Your treatment plan
ClearCorrect will work with our doctor to develop your digital treatment plan - the strategy for how your teeth will move and what techniques your doctor will use to move them. Your dentist will share the treatment plan with you so you can see your planned smile before starting treatment.

1. Your first appointment
Arrange an appointment with one of our experienced dentists and see if you’re a candidate. They’ll evaluate your smile by taking dental records (usually with an intraoral scanner) and examining your overall oral health. Ask about any available payment options, which can make treatment even more accessible.

3. Your treatment
Once your aligners are ready, your dentist will verify the fit of the aligners and will provide you with additional instructions based on your unique treatment plan. From there, simply wear the aligners 22 hours a day. They’ll move your teeth little by little with each aligner, each day bringing you closer to the smile you deserve!
