Dental Fillings

They involve removing the decayed portion of the tooth and filling it with a material such as amalgam (silver) or composite resin (tooth colour).

The price of fillings depends on the difficulty of the procedure, and the type and amount of material used. 

Root Canals

Root canal treatment (also called endodontics) is a dental procedure used to treat bacterial infection at the centre of a tooth caused by tooth decay, leaky fillings or damage to teeth as a result of trauma, such as a fall.

Root canal treatment can save a tooth that might otherwise have to be removed completely.

Infection in the centre of the tooth may lead to an abscess, where the symptoms can range from a dull ache to severe pain and tenderness when biting.

If left untreated, the infection will spread, resulting in the tooth having to be removed.

A crown may be required to give the tooth added strength and protection, and to prevent future fracturing of the tooth.

Extractions

Tooth extraction is a dental procedure that involves the removal of a tooth from its socket in the bone. This procedure is typically performed by a dentist when a tooth is damaged beyond repair, is severely decayed, or is causing overcrowding in the mouth.

Bridges
